She looks at the sky, sitting down on the grass patch of her condo. Nostalgia, she thought to herself. Why do the things around her seem so close? She recalled her past, the days which she could remember vividly.The little girl in her memory, if she remembers clearly, is one who will strive for the best. She'll do everything she's told to do, from doing household chores to assesment books. Her mother will bring her to shop every Saturday or Sunday, something the little girl loves. Her father will bring her and her brother down to the playground after dinner everyday. Though all the kids will be at home, maybe a few still at the playground, the little girl will still have fun. Sometimes she'll be playing the match the patterns thing, other times she'll be playing the slides and stuff like that. She miss those days. Those days, there were no worries. But she tells herself that the past will forever be the past. Why not appreciate her friends and her last year in Nanyang? Probably the last year with teasings, and teasing people. The last year being the oldest, the last year being called a child. She'll do her best, at least she thinks so. |
